3rd test to start today, can Aussies save this one??

With injuries hurting the visitors and of course the bad form of the players, it will be a miracle if they end up save this match. If they lose this one, it would be the first ever series lost of them to India by a margin of two or more tests. Already being said that the turf will assist spinners more than what this surface did, Australia will find it difficult to stand on it. Looking like time is also not with caption Michel clarke, his four key players are injured by some or more reasons. Mathew wade, who looked to find some form in last test is injured and is replaced by wicket keeper batsman Brad Haddin. Inform bowler James Pattinson will not be available and may be Peter Siddle and Mitchell Starc will share the new ball, and offie Nathan Lyon and left-armer Xavier Doherty are expected to split the spinning duties.

On the other hand India are looking favorite to win the third test and finish the series in style. Everything is going India's way, team is playing as a unit with a great captain in M S Dhoni. Which is why India will feel comfortable even if they opt for a three-spinner strong attack chasing their first ever 3-0 win over Australia.

R. Ashwin, a ten-for and a five-for already in his pocket, has been the form bowler, and Ravindra Jadeja has been his able, restrictive ally at the other end. Harbhajan Singh has bowled well in spurts; it remains to be seen whether he is displaced by left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, or shares the third tweaker’s slot with him.

Ishant Sharma’s poor run may have compelled MS Dhoni to sack him for an extra slower bowler; the historical assistance that the venue provides fast bowlers with might save Ishant a firing, or get Ashok Dinda a game at his expense. The impressive Bhuvenshwar Kumar is a certainty.

Sehwag's absence might lead to debut of Shikhar Dhawan who looks to be very promising young talent growing up. Lets find out what the 1st day will bring to us.
